2010 AMLA Election of Officers

Running for President - Pam Fink

When Jerry and I first started raising llamas standard was all we knew existed then about 5 years ago we found and purchased our first mini and have never looked back. We will always keep our very most favorite “big” girls and boys but minis is where are heart is.

We joined AMLA about 4 years ago and I have been an active member ever since contributing what I can by serving on as well as chairing several committees. For the past 4 years I have been the newsletter chairperson and editor, the AMLA’s web master for 3 years and am currently serving on the AMLA board of directors as Vice President.

I am looking forward to miniature llamas, as an industry growing and prospering and truly believe AMLA will be a driving force in making that happen. With your permission I would be proud to service as AMLA’s president for the next two years and look forward to working side by side with many of you to promote both miniature llamas in general and AMLA in particular.

Running for Secretary - Phyllis Wilkerson

I'm submitting this letter for the AMLA Secretary position.  I have been an AMLA member for almost 5 years and it would be my pleasure to serve as Secretary.

The first time I saw llamas I was so excited that I knew I wanted my own herd and then when I heard about the miniature llama I started checking into them and within 60 days I had my own very small herd of 3 and it's been growing since.  I have enjoyed them all and will continue to enjoy each and everyone of them.  My long term goal is to continue with my miniature breeding program for as long as they will have me!

Please email your vote to one of the members of the Nominating Committee no later than 6:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time on December 9, 2010
